At present, dry and wet FGD desulphurization are the main desulfurization process used by thermal power plant. Both of them needs limestone to be made into desulfurization agent, so the mill has become indispensable equipment of desulfurization system.
 
For different requirements of limestone powder fineness in dry and wet FGD desulphurization, we can provide different specialized milling equipment configuration.
 
Dry FGD absorber used calcium carbonate or calcium oxide or calcium hydroxide, fineness requirements are within 1mm, Kefid's vertical mill, superpressure trapezium mill, European type grinding mill and other equipment are able to meet the requirements of this fineness.
 
Wet limestone flue gas desulfurization process is the most widely used coal-fired power plant flue gas desulfurization process. It requires desulfurization absorber limestone fineness should be determined according to the features of limestone and the comprehensive optimization of limestone FGD system and grinding-system. For burning low sulfur fuel from coal boilers, limestone powder fineness should ensure 91% through sieve rate for 250 mesh; when burning high sulfur-containing coal, limestone powder fineness should ensure 90 % pass rate for 325 mesh.
